Welcome to our house in Verdun-sur-le-Doubs !
We are Patricia and Fabrice and we have been working with tourism in the heart of Southern Burgundy (France) for 20 years. We love to receive and show our region to our hosts from all over the world. You will be charmed by this quiet and relaxing little corner of paradise where birds sing and fish are within reach of fishing rod! When we are not at home, we love to do bike and cross Europe at our rythm, to discover people and landscapes! ;)
The Guest House
Independent house with garden, next to the river, this heaven of peace has a bedroom with a double bed, antother bedroom with bunk bed, a kitchen full furnished (washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine), a bathroom with an Italian shower and toilets separated.
More: WiFi, TV, ouside sink, fishing hut, barbecue and private pontoon.
€130 per night with a minimum of 3 nights
Fees based on 2 or 4 hosts (from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am):
from €530/€650
Deposit: 25% at the reservation
Caution : €200 € (in case of damages or cleaning costs)
Possibility to rent: bed sheets (€10€/bed), towels (€8/pers)
The cleaning needs to be done before your leaving.
You have the possibility to book the cleaning when you arrive for €50 extra.

The Fishing Corner
The river « Le Petit Doubs » flows just below the garden. Access to the waterfront is direct, and the shore is equipped with a pontoon to moor a boat. Quiet and peaceful, this place is ideal for fishing.
The guest house has an outdoor sink to prepare the fish.
Little story from Patricia: In the first picture, it is my father, the former owner, with one of his last catch. Lover of his village and passionate about fishing, he spent his life renovating this house. During his free time, he would tease pike, zander, perch, eel so that my grandmother would prepare the famous pôchouse, the typical and traditional Verdun dish. It is now possible to taste this family recipe perpetuated from generation to generation at the restaurant Le Caveau de Verdun.
Bed and Breakfast
Independants from the guest house, the bedrooms are located in a character house dated from 1848. Equiped with air-conditionner ❄️, calm and with a river view, they combine old, contemporary and charming original beams. They are available with double bed or separate beds, with shower or bathtub. The breakfast is homemade, organic and all you can eat.

The Location
The Doubs Sejour guest house and the B&B are located in the heart of the village of Verdun sur le Doubs, which has a small port. Our rentals are in the old town « Vieux Verdun », near the confluence between the Doubs and the Saône.
The place is calm and relaxing: fishing, bike rides (walking and cycling path) or at the water's edge, boat rides (blueway), fitness trail on the « castle island », wheat and bread museum, swimming pool municipal with snack bar facing the river, but also many small shops, restaurants and the local farmers market every Thursday morning.
Verdun sur le Doubs is also very well located, at the crossroads of the various Burgundy wine roads as well as several emblematic cities of Southern Burgundy - Chalon-sur-Saône (22 km/14 mi), Beaune (23 km/14 mi), Dole (47 km/29 mi) and Dijon (57 km/35mi).

Located 10 minutes walk from the guest house and the bnb rooms, the "Guinguette La Plage" offers snacks, ice cream and kayak rental. It is an ideal place to rest by the water and enjoy the shaded terrace.
